I charge £20 an hour, plus expenses such as photocopying, postage, access to records etc. This does not include travel expenses - these would only apply if the research takes me outside of Edinburgh or London.  I also have a daily rate, if the project warrants it.  Contact me to discuss further!

Research can be an expensive business, so if the project seems quite large, I would recommend placing a time limit in the initial stages. After that time was up, we would then review what I had been able to achieve, and discuss how much was left to do. I invoice for the full cost of the project at the end, rather than requiring a deposit.
